"Finance and production are inseparable": Javier Milei met with the CEO of JP Morgan and celebrated the new investments.

President Javier Milei and his financial team led an event at the National Museum of Decorative Art and welcomed Jamie Dimon , CEO of JP Morgan Chase & Co. Milei avoided discussing the national elections scheduled for October 26 due to the ban and thanked the Donald Trump administration for their support.
"I would like to thank the local JP Morgan team for hosting this meeting, and all its representatives and Argentine business leaders present. I also want to extend my thanks to the United States government for its support and the gestures toward Argentina by President Trump and Secretary (Scott) Bessent ," Milei said during her speech at the event.
Milei was accompanied by the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo , and the acting Secretary of Finance, Pablo Quirno , who will take over as foreign minister in the coming days. Dimon was accompanied by Facundo Gómez Minujín and Alfonso Eyzaguirre . Unable to discuss the political situation, Milei focused on the economy and finance, which he described as " an inseparable element of production ."
"In Argentina, finance has historically been demonized. The public has been convinced that finance and production are opposites. However, it is impossible to separate finance from production, since without credit, there is no industry, construction, agriculture, or any other type of productive activity," the head of state stated. "Credit is perhaps the best instrument of social mobilization that exists, because it is basically the cornerstone of the economic growth machine," he added.
In this regard, the president took aim at the opposition and declared: "What the defenders of so-called social justice ignore is that credit is true social justice, because it allows us as individuals to access our future savings in the present." At the same time, Milei asserted that "the left" "refuses to take out credit because it undermines coercion, its favorite form of power."
" We seek to have a sound fiscal policy; in fact, we ensured intertemporal solvency from our first month in office with a zero deficit ," Milei said, positing that this policy will lead to a credit restructuring to increase investment and fuel the economy, mentioning the investments by YPF and OpenIA. "This is just the beginning," Milei celebrated.
